On the weekend of October 10th and 11th the FFSA in conjunction with Futsal SA held the inaugural Futsal Super Cup at ETSA Park.

The tournament was the first of its kind in SA and had teams participate from Super, Premier, State League & Collegiate clubs as well as numerous Futsal SA run competitions.

16 teams entered the tournament participating in group matches on the Saturday before numbers were dwindled down to 4 for Sunday morning semi finals. Sunday finals were close with all 4 semi finalists looking more than capable of winning the cup. It was the team consisting of Dominic Pepicelli, Stephen Piotto, Piotr Sapa, Pat Stabile, Paul Raschella, Tomi Zilic and Anthony Capaldi who defeated the Wanderers who were victorious in a closely contested final.  

Special thanks must go to Futsal SA, in particular the Chairman Arthur Di Fede, Futsal SA Referees Coach Ray Grima and Futsal Coaching director Tony Lascala for their continued support throughout the event.

A special thank you to the Futsal SA Referees Brendon Skinner, Ray Grima, Giancalo Zumbo, John Greco, David Greco and Matthew Graser for a highly professional job in officiating the tournament over the two days.
